Eloise has owned and managed the property for 20 years she operated The Mussel Boys restaurant on this site for around 8 years, during that time she built the 4 accommodation chalets. After the birth of Eloise and Brendan’s first child Maggie they choose to close the restaurant and continue to operate the chalets. Brendan worked FIFO and Eloise took up recipe writing, food photography and food styling and published 6 cookbooks and gained a photography diploma. They had 2 more kids Steph and Oscar. In 2024 they have reopened the Bistro serving the wild caught fish that Brendan catches and other local foods.

Checkin -In Information

If the Bistro is open please come in and say Hi and we can give you the Check-in info.

If you arrive outside Bistro opening hours, you will receive the check-in info, via the phone number or email you supply when you book, or messaged via the third-party wholesale company you booked with.

(IMPORTANT INFO IF YOU BOOK VIA A WHOLESALER (Airbnb, Booking.com or Expedia and their subsidiaries )

***please be aware that online travel sites are booking rooms via the wholesalers we use, and on-selling them. This is completely out of our control.  If you have booked through one of these travel sites (intentionally or accidentally- sadly it may not be the Real Booking.com you book with) your CORRECT details will not been passed on to us & you may have incorrect contact details for us (extra numbers in phone number?) so please check them. Our preferred method of contact while you are staying when we are not in the Bistro to chat to, is text message, we don’t always see all the messages via the wholesalers and they do not come through quickly.
